Botox and Dermal Fillers

Botox was introduced about 20 years ago to reduce frown lines between the eyes, but today the cosmetic application has multiple advantages. The most common areas treated are the forehead, between the eyes, corners of the eyes and occasionally the corners of the mouth. Botox blocks the release of neurotransmitters on the motor nerves that govern movement and prevent them from contracting. Therefore, it can be used as a muscle relaxer to reduce chronic facial pain, teeth grinding and as an alternative to surgical treatment of “gummy smiles” (when the patient raises the upper lip too high while smiling, so pink gum tissue shows). The effects of Botox injections are not evident for three or four days, so plan accordingly if you want to look your best for an important event. The effects of the wrinkle relaxer lasts three to four months.

Dermal Fillers, which provide an appearance of fullness at the injection site and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. They are mostly used for naso-labial folds ( the crease between the corner of the lips and the edge of the nose, marionette lines ( the wrinkles from the corner of your mouth to the jawbone) , lip augmentation and deeper folds or scar area depressions. The results are visible immediately and last about six to nine months.

We do our Botox and dermal fillers as fixed prices based on area. Each area include both sides of your face.
