Dr. Bridgett Jorgensen started her journey towards dentistry shortly after graduating from high school in Illinois. At seventeen, she married her high school sweetheart, Allen Jorgensen, and began college for dental hygiene. After employment as a hygienist for a few years, she decided to go back to school to become a dentist. In 1992, she graduated from Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine. She opened North Gwinnett Dental Care in 1994 and she is involved in the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Northern District Dental Association. Dr. Jorgensen is the former president of the Gwinnett Dental Society. The Jorgensen’s have four grown children and three grandchildren. Chris, their eldest son, is a graduate of Georgia Tech and a forensic psychiatrist serving in the US Air Force. He is married to Anita and they have two daughters, Violet and Rose, and currently reside in Germany. Delaney, the Jorgensens’ only daughter, is a UGA grad and a Boston University Dental school graduate. She is married to Andrew, and they have a baby boy, Riley. She practices dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama. Eric, their third child, lives in Atlanta with his girlfriend, Chandler, and is a lawyer at a firm in Suwanee. Tanner, their youngest, graduated from UGA with a marketing degree and is working in the Atlanta area, but travels frequently.
